The SKY3000 is a high performance portable gas detector certified to IECEx, ATEX, and EMC standards. It uses a built in pump for active sampling but can automatically switch to diffusion mode in case of pump failure or special emergency, providing an extra layer of safety. The detector measures up to 6 gases simultaneously (standard 4 in 1: CO/H₂S/O₂/LEL, with VOC as an option).

Taking VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) as an example, the SKY3000 employs a PID (Photoionization Detector) sensor to measure concentrations from 0–1000ppm with a resolution of 1ppm. Response time (T90) is ≤30 seconds, and precision ≤ ±2% FS.

The large graphical LCD (160×96) can be rotated 180° for easy reading in any orientation. Backlight turns on automatically during alarms.

Data logging is standard: 100,000 records with adjustable interval (5–3600 seconds). Data can be exported to a PC via USB without any software – the detector appears as a removable drive.

The detector includes a standard water trap filter to protect the pump and sensor from moisture and dust. A man down alarm enhances lone worker safety. Optional LoRa or Bluetooth wireless modules enable remote real time monitoring, and the DKS 3000 docking station automates bump testing, calibration, and data management.

Powered by a 2200mAh rechargeable lithium battery, the SKY3000 runs for >15 hours in continuous pumping mode (charging time ≥4 hours). With IP67 protection and 3 meter drop resistance, it is built for the harshest job sites.
